Number of campers: 11 Average age: 11,33 years | Daily NEWS from the camp| Monday, July 11th, 2005 | The children arrived at the Ferdinand Nagel hut at 11.15 after a quiet bus ride.
While the kids moved in it rained heavily. As it stopped raining they were just preparing their wraps for lunch.
Then they went on camp tour - in the rain ):!
So they played some getting-to-know games in the house.
Now they are preparing for campshow and room control.
This evening they will have self-made pizza for dinner and they will still make jam.
Tonight they will go for a night walk - even if it rains.
All children are happy and have already made lots of friends.
And everybody is hoping for sun :)!!!!
| | Tuesday, July 12th, 2005 | Last night the kids had a wonderful night walk with a few spooky moments.
In the morning they woke up and had breakfast at 8 a.m.
It was raining heavily when they were writing their diary.
It stopped raining and the children did the compass game and played "shoot the balloon" - a fantastic dart prize game.
Then it started to rain , but survival was the motto: half the group went inside and prepared hamburgers and veggie burgers and the other half attempted and succeeded in making a fire although it was pouring.
So they grilled outside and ate inside!!
Afterwards they played bingo, the hubba bubba game, the soletti game and of course the hot hot soup contest ( the best way to stop colds and fever).
At 5.00 p.m. they started to get ready for room control and camp show.
At 7.00 p.m. they will be having spaghetti.
If it doesn't rain the boys and girls will still play the flashlight game.
The weather at 6.00 p.m.: 18°C, cloudy, no rain
All the kids are alive, happy and burning with chilli.
| | Wednesday, July 13th, 2005 | Last night the children had a nice ghost night with a big spook.
They woke up the next day at 8.30 a.m., had breakfast with beautiful sunshine and 13°C.
After breakfast they played capture the flag on the field, made masks and had hot dogs for lunch.
At 1.30 p.m. the kids are in the bus on the way to the swimming pool in Neunkirchen (to wash of remaining stuff from making the masks :) )
They will return at 5.30 p.m. and will get ready for camp show.
Tonight the boys and girls will still have a nice dinner buffet and play the game "the fairies garden" with Fiona.
At the moment (1.30 p.m.) it is partly cloudy, partly sunny with 15°C on the Hohe Wand.
| | Thursday, July 14th, 2005 | As the children went to bed at midnight, they slept long and had Irish breakfast(beans on toast) at 10.00 a.m.
The sun was shining when they wrote their camp diary.
Afterwards they tie dyed their T-shirts and had mexican tacos for lunch.
Then they went up to the big field and played lots of different games.
When they came back they got ready for room control, BBQ and disco.
At 9.00 p.m. the boys and girls will be having their camp show, Gerry's famous box game and the super fantastic fire work show!!
The sun was shining the whole day long with 19°C in the shade.
All the kids are fine and excited!!!
| | Friday, July 15th, 2005 | All the children had a wonderful evening and night yesterday!!
In the morning they had Danny's famous pancakes. And many kids tried to eat as many as they could :) !!
Then they played watergames because it was so hot in comparison to the other days (23°C).
After packing up they are now on their way to the animal farm and the cool playground with the long, long, dangerous slide.
They will be in Bad Vöslau at 6.00 p.m. and are waiting for a good scrub :) !!
